Janet Reads Jane Starting Over

Well, I have decided to start over reading Jane Austen's Emma. I can not read aloud for 30 minutes and hold the phone so I will be switching to 15 minutes and starting the segments over. I think this will be easier and a better read for us all.

To Handkercheif or not to Handkerchief

I love handkerchiefs. If I have a cold then I use throw away tissues but I keep at least 2 cotton handkerchiefs in my purse at all times.

Whether playing a children's game, dancing, or waving in our heros, handkerchiefs have always been a part of culture. In every country thoughout history, handkerchiefs have played a part.

I love finding vintage hankies but make them new too. Here are some examples.

The first reading is on blogtalkradio

Thursday night after I finished the Thursday Women's Networking Hour my grandmother fell out of bed and by the time I got her back into bed I had lost my reading groove. The first reading was not the best but the next promises to be better.
If you would like to get a copy of the www.blogtalkradio.com/janetreadsjane show just follow the link and put it on your web site. The itunes version will be available soon.
